Manuscript

I have prepared a manuscript of my poems titled "Green Moon". This collection of poems spans a period of 10 years of writing, from 1998 to 2008. It contains different types of poems and many experimental ones. It also cuts across different topics and issues ranging from Ppolitics, God, Human Nature, to the Arts and many others.

However, self-publishing it looks almost impossible due to the high cost associated with such a venture. I therefore look forward to obtaining ideas and help from anybody who could help.

Pre-colonial African Literature concerned itself with the fight for independence. Writings that were churned out during this period (before the 1960s) addressed colonialism and occupation and its tone was vitriolic. Such books as Ngugi's Weep Not Child sought to put the fight for independence into perspectives. So drunk were the people with the struggle of the day that the people (of Africa) began to confuse independence with development. And as a matter of fact development, by a people for the same people according to their likes and dislikes, is truly a function of independence.
